César Leonardo Reyes Cruz has a robust background and extensive experience in criminal law and criminal procedural law, serving in our firm's Criminal Litigation Unit.

He earned his Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.) Cum Laude in 2008 from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU). In January 2010, he completed the Public Defender Training Program at the National Judicial School (ADP 2009), serving as a Public Defender for the Judicial Department in La Vega Province from 2010 to 2018.

He is also a graduate of the Prosecutor Training Program (2018) from the National School of the Public Ministry, where he worked as a Prosecutor assigned to the Department of Special Investigations and Organized Crime (DIECO) in La Vega Province from 2019 to 2022.

He has completed numerous courses, diplomas, and workshops in criminal law, criminal procedural law, and constitutional law, covering topics such as litigation techniques, criminal theory, constitutional interpretation, constitutional procedural law, human trafficking, traffic law and civil liability, coercive measures, appellate procedures in the Dominican criminal process, juvenile criminal law, anti-money laundering and asset forfeiture law, and the investigation and handling of gender-based violence, among others.
